 Cabrillo Day Camp
Time Engineer
Week of July 12
Week long day camp at the Cabrillo Beach Youth Waterfront Sports Center (Cabrillo Beach area near San Pedro). The theme this year is Time Engineer. Activities will include boating, swimming, archery, crafts, nature, songs, games, feats of skill, and BB guns. There is also a campfire on Thursday evening.
The cost per scout is $107.75 if registered by April 30.
Camp begins between 8:15AM and 8:45AM (earlier on Monday and later the other days). Each day begins with a flag ceremony, den yells and other fun stuff. Each day ends at 4PM except for Friday which ends at 3:30PM. On Thursday evening from 5PM to 9PM there is a campfire.
The cost per Scout is $107.75 if registered by April 30. Participation in the campfire on Thursday is an additional $22 (includes dinner for the Scout and one parent). Scouts can bring a sack lunch each day or prepay $40 for hot lunches for the week.
Parents are strongly encouraged to volunteer for one or more days during the week.
Transportation is “on your own”, but parents typically arrange car pools to and from camp.
