Baloo’s Bugle - Cub Scout Leader Program Helps for 2008-2009
Pacific District Cub Leader Training - See link to 2008-2009 training schedule at top of page; the BSA required Youth Protection Training, Safe Swim Defense and Hazardous Weather courses are also available online.
Cub Scout Basic Leader Training - A thorough course and is very helpful; it is the one being held June 12, 2010 and October 30, 2010 (tentative). Leader specific courses are also offered at the University of Scouting in December each year.
Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO) - Safety, equipment, as well as food and activity ideas for campouts. Held once a year in the spring. This year it will be on May 16, 2009.
Adult Training Courses - Online training courses that are available and/or required for leaders and interested adults who work with the boys.
Tour Permit - Required for any Scout meetings, activities or other events not held at Pennekamp.
Expense reimbursement - Turn this in with your receipts for approved purchases to the Treasurer or Committee Chair.
Pacifica District Roundtable - Monthly District Info meeting and additional ad hoc training venue; Roundtable is held every third Tuesday 7:15PM-9:00PM; each den is asked to send a representative at least once during the year and to report back to the Pack committee.
